The pre-Primary children have been having fun learning about time awareness in drama class.They found out that actors move at different paces depending on the situation and character they are playing.They have also been acting out characters and ideas from several books. In the photos below, the children can be seen Acting Out a book called “Just Imagine”, as well as role-playing different characters and objects using a variety of paces and movements.
The Year One children have been building their vocal skills with the learning of several poems.They have also participated in a play set at school. Here they can be seen reciting a poem called “A Little Worm”, imagining themselves in the school playground and teaching some dolphins new tricks.
The Year Two children have also been working on their vocal skills. In addition, they have been learning about animal characterisation skills and have participated in a whole class improvisation where they were animals concerned about their forest home. Here they can be seen reciting a poem and portraying animal characters in an improvisation set in the forest.
